The Lion Hotel in Llansantffraid is seen in this postcard which was published by "Ed. Jones, Aneddle, Llansantffraid."

It is undated, but on the forecourt of the hotel is what looks very like an early petrol filling pump - or if it is not that, something that is at least something to do with motoring. The name of the product is "Pratts".

The date may then be the 1920s or early 1930s as Pratts petrol was apparently rebranded as Esso in the mid-1930s.
