Top rating of force is disputed

Two items of local news caught my attention this week.

The front page on one of the local papers reported a lorry, loaded with scrap copper, was stolen from the Oakley Arnold scrapyard in Broseley, and was followed by two employees through Bridgnorth, then on to Wolverhampton where they lost it in traffic.

The police were phoned during the 20-minute chase and given a full description of the vehicle and the road on which it was travelling.

Another piece in the press reported that West Mercia Police has been officially hailed as one of the best forces in the country having been given an "excellent" rating for giving taxpayers value for money.

I wonder if the directors of Oakley Arnold agree?
