The youngster travelled to London today for the event, which was due to run from noon until 3pm, with her mum Amanda Hilton.

Anna, a pupil of Whixall Primary School, was diagnosed with the incurable disease, which is a degenerative genetic disorder, at the end of last year.

She recently lost her sight as a result of the condition.

"Anna has lost her sight now, but she is happy and that is the main thing," he said.
