Ex-Blur guitarist joins V line-up
Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon was today unveiled as one of the latest acts to join the line-up at this year's sell-out V Festival.
Up-and-coming alternative rock band The Holloways will also appear at the festival at Weston Park, on the Shropshire border
The Bravery, Stephen Fretwell, Boy Kill Boy, Bedouin Sound Clash and Plan B will also perform over the weekend of August 18 and 19.
They will all perform on the Virgin Mobile Union Stage.
Bob Angus, V Festival director, said: "This stage, now making its fourth appearance, goes from strength to strength every year.
"The calibre of the acts performing has helped establish the Virgin Mobile Union Stage as a must-see destination at V Festival."
The line-up for the stage also includes Bright Eyes, Air Traffic, Mr Hudson and the Library, The Rumble Strips, Mumm-Ra, Remi Nicole, Switches, Cherry Ghost, The Wombats, Tiny Dancers, Ghosts, Unklejam, Passenger, Hoosiers, Dodgems, Rebecca and Pop Levi.
They will join acts previously announced, including Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Pink, James, Basement Jaxx, Amy Winehouse and The Kooks.
This year's festival is being headlined by The Killers and Foo Fighters. Jarvis Cocker is also set to perform at the festival for the first time in 11 years.
The former Pulp frontman inspired the idea of the event back in 1995, after saying he would like to play two outdoor gigs in two days.
