A man in his 40s was injured after another man drove up to his house, parked in the driveway and attacked him in his back garden.
The victim was punched around the head and body and had to be taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for treatment to cuts and bruises, police said today.
They say the offender got out of a blue Vauxhall Corsa.
The assault happened in the garden of the house in Monkmoor Road between 9.10pm and 9.25pm on Wednesday.
