A Mid Wales teenager thought to have left home with a man twice her age, has been reunited with her family.

Nicole Flatters, 14, from Llandrindod Wells, was reported missing by her mother on Monday.

Dyfed-Powys Police believed she may have gone missing with Damien O'Callaghan, a 28-year-old, also known as Paddy, with contacts in Powys and Cardiff.

It was thought the pair had gone to Cardiff and were possibly staying in bed and breakfast accommodation.

Dyfed-Powys Police said yesterday they were anxious to trace Nicole to ensure she was safe and well.

"Her family are understandably concerned about her welfare," a spokeswoman had said.

"The police ask that anybody, but in particular any B&B proprietors, who may have any knowledge contact Dyfed-Powys Police."

The spokeswoman today confirmed the teenager had been found yesterday evening and reunited with her family.
