In Zimbabwe we are all witness to horrific crimes, destruction and rape of the economy, infrastructure and morale of its citizens by the one man dictator, Robert Mugabe.

He is clearly a madman who is drunk on the power allowed to him.

And yet the whole world stands by and does nothing. Why?

Perhaps you feel helpless and think that the only solution is for the world's politicians to take action.

However, there is one thing we could do - provided we believe in God. We can pray for that nation that God would move in a miraculous way.

I am quite certain that there is another way for us all to see the conflicts around the world come to an end in a peaceful way and this can involve you and me and God himself.

He promises us "Not by might, nor by power, but by MY Spirit. . ." (Zechariah 4:6). God our creator is able to change people just by his spirit.

Every time you see an injustice going on, enough to make you feel angry about it, don't try to sort it out yourself. Pray and ask God, for he invites you to "cast all your anxiety on him, for he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Just recently in this country we have had terrorists, floods, now foot and mouth disease and we leave it to the Government to deal with.

Its solutions have great cost to life of both humans and animals. Once again, I believe God is asking us to believe in him and ask him to deal with the hardships we face.
