A ridge of high pressure is sitting on top of the whole country and will dominate conditions for the rest of the week, said Shropshire Star weatherman John Warner.
"There will be light south west winds and temperatures will rise to 16C (61F) on Thursday and Friday," he said.
Mr Warner said after a spell of heavy rain tomorrow and early mist on Wednesday, the week would stay warm with sunny spells.
