A rare Chinese crested hairless dog has gone missing in Telford - and his carer fears he could freeze to death in the cold snap.
A rare Chinese crested hairless dog has gone missing in Telford - and his carer fears he could freeze to death in the cold snap.
Quazar, who is bald apart from crests of hair on his head, legs and tail, went walkabout in Woodside on Saturday. After a brief sighting in an alleyway, the five-year-old pedigree dog, worth at least £400, has vanished.
Quazar is a grandson of Baldrick, a Chinese crested dog who hit the national headlines four years ago when he was at the centre of a canine tug-of-love battle in Telford County Court involving Marty Burrell.
He was bred by Liz Bushnell, of Third Avenue, Ketley Bank.
Quazar has been staying with Donna Morgan, of Willowfield, Woodside. She said: "He is microchipped and has his DNA registered."
