A woman suffered serious injuries in a fire at a farm in north Shropshire.
Tara Tildsley suffered burns to her stomach, back and hands, as well as smoke inhalation, in the fire at Adderley Lodge Farm, Adderley Road, Market Drayton.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, but is being treated as accidental.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 8.20pm yesterday.A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "The house had suffered significant damage.
"The 34-year-old woman had suffered burns to her hands, lower back and face. She also had severe smoke inhalation.
"She was taken on blue lights to the specialist trauma centre at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent, where medics were on standby for her arrival."
Fire appliances from Market Drayton and Hodnet attended the scene, along with the incident commander from Shrewsbury and a fire investigation officer.
Sub-officer Roger Smith, from Market Drayton fire station, said the woman had managed to get out of the building.
He said: "When we arrived there, there was black smoke issuing from a first floor bedroom.
"I believe the lady works on the farm looking after horses."
He said the fire is under investigation, but the results would probably not be known until 48 hours at the earliest.
Mr Smith said the bedroom of the property had been severely damaged.
