They now aim to make a comeback on the club circuit but have not ruled out the prospect of a fresh assault on the charts. Tight Fit have a number of county connections. The group, which features Julie Harris as the only remaining vocalist from the original line-up, was re-formed with the help of Bridgnorth guitarist Paul Brittain who has worked with the singer in recent years. In addition, the second female vocalist is now none other than the daughter of football legend Billy Wright who lived in Ironbridge.And Vicky, from Surrey, used the band's rare trip to Shropshire to make an emotional visit to the home where her dad grew up.
She said: "I went to visit his old house in Ironbridge and I was like 'oh my word, this is really my dad's home town'. I even managed to touch his plaque.
"It was very emotional to see the house."
Vicky said she knocked the door and spoke to the current owners of the property but did not venture inside the house.
Vicky, whose mother Joy was a member of the legendary soul group The Beverley Sisters, is now a member of the new-look Tight Fit.
