Rocks used to hit cars

Rocks were used to smash the windows and damage two cars in Market Drayton, causing more than £1,000 of damage. A black BMW and silver MG, parked in Smithfield Road, were targeted.

Constable Clare Stretton, investigating, said: "This extensive damage was caused using some granite rocks found nearby.

"The offender may have left a vehicle at the top of the driveway as there is only one way in and out of this narrow row of houses."

Anyone with information about the attacks, which happened on Sunday, between 8pm and 10.40pm, is asked to call Constable Stretton on 08457 444888.
