Mandy FranksPolice investigating the disappearance of Shropshire mother Mandy Franks today appealed for more people to come forward in the hunt for the 40-year-old.

CCTV images showing Miss Franks inside Montgomery's Tower pub on October 4 – when she was last seen – were released on Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Mick Homden, from Shrewsbury CID, today said: "Investigations are ongoing and we are still really keen to hear from anyone who has seen Mandy.

"We did have a number of people call us following the release of the CCTV images but we know there must still be a lot more people out there who must have seen her and we would ask them to get in touch."

The CCTV shows what Miss Franks, formerly Mrs Rowland, was wearing on the night she went missing.

Miss Frank's partner Jody Evans last saw her on October 4 after he left her in Frank Café Bar in Frankwell, Shrewsbury, in order to meet a friend.

She visited Montgomery's Tower on Lower Claremont Bank, after leaving Frank Cafe Bar at about 10pm, arriving at the JD Wetherspoon venue at about 10.15pm after making her way across the Welsh Bridge.

She is thought to have had a brief conversation with a doorman outside the pub between about 11.50pm and 12.05am, before walking across the road towards the car park, to its corner with St Austin's Street.

Anybody with any information should contact police on 08457 444 888.
