A charity set up to protect hundreds of hectares of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site has secured the go ahead for a new £200,000 headquarters.
The scheme will see the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust move to a wooded glade in Coalbrookdale.
The trust has spent more than a year consulting with the community and carrying out surveys over its plans to build a new headquarters.
Now planning chiefs at Telford & Wrekin Council have approved the proposals for the 180 sq metre timber building off Darby Road.
