Parts of Kidderminster town centre are badly polluted by traffic fumes, air quality checks have revealed.

Detailed checks have shown that nitrogen dioxide levels in the Radford Avenue area and around the bottom of Coventry Street exceed government targets and that air quality is poor.

A member of the council's pollution control team will be on hand to answer questions at Kidderminster Town Hall from April 20 to April 23.

There is said to be no immediate health danger.
