Three people were taken to hospital after a Land Rover overturned near Market Drayton and left the carriageway.

The incident happened on the A41 at Tern Hill on Saturday at about 9.15pm and the road was closed.

One man had to be released from the vehicle by firefighters using cutting equipment.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "On arrival at the scene crews found a 4x4 vehicle that had overturned and left the carriageway.

"Two men, believed to be in there late 20s, were treated on scene for minor back and head injuries before being conveyed to Princess Royal Hospital.

"A third person was also treated on scene and conveyed to the same hospital for further assessment and treatment."

Fire fighters from Market Drayton, Hodnet, and Wellington attended. Crews released the man and the stop call was received at 9.51pm.
