A serial thief has been jailed for one month after stealing chocolate bars to fund his heroin addiction.
Michael Beasley, aged 28, of Meriden Road, Oxley, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court after admitting two thefts, two charges of failing to surrender to custody and one charge of failing to return for a drug test.
Judge Amjad Nawaz sentenced him to 28 days in prison and an 18-month community order, with an 18-month supervision order and a 12-month drug rehabilitation requirement.
