Two stars of Britain's most popular TV soaps will be in a village near Oswestry tomorrow.

Steven Arnold, who plays Ashley Peacock in Coronation Street, will be at St Martins summer fair.

The actor will also be on hand to open a new coffee shop and foyer at the village's Stans Superstore from 11am.

And former EastEnders actress Cindy O'Callaghan, who played Andrea Price, will also be at the village fair, where she will judge its new talent contest.

Auditions for St Martins's Got Talent were held last month in the village's community centre.

A team of judges picked out the finalists who will be taking to the stage at the fair tomorrow to entertain the audience and show off their hidden talents.

Other prizes include meals for two at Oswestry restaurants. Tickets cost £1 and the draw will be made during the fair.

The fair will run from 11am to 4pm.
