Matthew James Gregory, of Erbistock, died on Sunday after the crash on the A539 between Hanmer and Penley on what was his 26th birthday.

Mr Gregory had worked as a plant operator for Loppington-based Hawk Plant Hire Limited for three and a half years.

"Wherever he went he worked very hard and he was well liked and respected by all his colleagues and everybody he came into contact with."
