Five men were today jailed for the armed robbery of a Telford bank in which £425,000 was stolen.

The gang - all from the Salford area of Manchester - targeted the Dawley branch of Lloyds TSB in September last year.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court today David Dargan, 24, and Gregory Burke, 25, were both given indefinite prison sentences for public protection and it will be at least five years before they can be considered for parole.

Colin Farrell, 27, Brian Moran, 24, and Paul Fielding, 26, were all jailed for eight years for their part in the raid.

All five defendants had admitted conspiracy to rob the bank.
