A 45-year-old man was mysteriously attacked in his home by two men in Telford, police said today.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward following the incident which happened in Oakengates last night.
The serious assault took place at the house in Hancock Drive at about 10.30pm, officers said.
They said the victim was left with facial injuries following the assault.
Chris Ammonds, of Telford police, said: "It appears two men broke into the property and seriously assaulted the man who lived there.
"They forced their way into the house through the front door and left without taking anything."
The victim suffered facial cuts and bruises.
"He was taken to hospital and is being assessed by medical staff.
"The extent of his injuries are unclear," added Mr Ammonds.
"We are keen to establish the reason why the two men attended the address," he said.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the two men turn up at the address or who may have seen anything or anyone suspicious.
