Illegal parking is to be targeted in a Mid Wales town to tackle a rise in congestion.
Dyfed-Powys Police will attempt to clamp down on illegal parkers in Llanfyllin after a number of complaints from residents.
Constable Bob Beaman of Llanfyllin Police said: "Some of this parking is illegal, and some inconsiderate to others."
He said police "may be forced" to administer fixed penalty enforcement tickets to vehicles causing an obs-truction, or illegally parked.
He added that police wo-uld be stepping up patrols in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant.
