Mapping Shropshire's ghosts
Tell us about your encounters with Shropshire's resident ghosts and ghouls and help us to map the county's undead folklore.
Ghouls, ghosts and things that go bump in the night — but where? And have you encountered them?
We're trying to create the definitive ghost map of Shropshire, but we need your help.
If you've encountered the spirits said to reside at Ludlow Castle, or found yourself sharing a room with a phantom at Shrewsbury's Prince Rupert Hotel, tell your tale here.
There are dozens of Shropshire ghost stories, some — such as the Wem ghost or the spirit haunting Bridgnorth's Theatre on the Steps — are well-known, but there are other tales — such as the phantom walker seen near Allscott — that are news even to life-long residents.
So, if you've a tale to tell for Halloween, tell it here, and help us to build the definitive map of spooky Shropshire.
