A caravan was destroyed and two cars damaged in a suspicious blaze on the driveway of a house in Telford today.
Heat from the fire also damaged the front of the property in Sinclair Gardens, Ketley.
The garage was also damaged.
A couple who were in the house at the time were not injured.
Ian Leigh, watch manager at Wellington fire station, said that crews called to the scene at about 3am found the caravan well alight.
He said: "The caravan was gutted and heat from the fire damaged two cars, a Kia and a Proton, which belonged to the people in the house.
"The fire also cracked an upstairs window, damaged the frame and melted guttering while the garage was left smoke-logged and the door damaged.
"We are treating it as suspicious and the police attended the scene.
"Our fire investigation officers were going back again today to inspect the caravan in the daylight."
Telford police spokesman Chris Ammonds confirmed officers were investigating the cause of the blaze.
He confirmed that officers attended the scene shortly before 3.15am and that efforts were being made to establish the cause of the fire amid concerns it could be of doubtful origin.
