And he says if rumours are true that Boy George could take part in the very last Celebrity Big Brother next year he is hoping to give the singer-turned-DJ some tips on how to survive.

Freddie will go on stage at the Oswestry nightclub just after 11.15pm. It will be only his second engagement as a DJ. "I have always loved music and someone suggested that I look at DJ-ing. I bought a set of decks and took to it really quickly. I just love it. I went to a house party last weekend and was on them all night," he said. I did a gig in Stoke-on-Trent last week which went well and am looking forward to being in Shropshire on Friday."

He said he hoped he would get the chance to chat to the 1980s music legend, Boy George.

"He could give me some tips but also, if the rumours are to be believed, I could give him some tips on life in the Big Brother house," he said. He said his main piece of advice to anyone going inside the house would be not to take it too seriously. He said he had taken some time to readjust after his time in Big Brother earlier this year.

"At first when I came out it was all a bit surreal. Then I had to try to find my path in life again," he added.

Music promoter, Paul Headings, who is bringing the two big names to Oswestry on Friday, said he hoped the two acts would mean a full house for Gibsons.

Boy George is scheduled to go on stage at about 1.30am.
