Man in court on murder charge

A 25-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Shropshire man.

The man appeared at a special sitting of Shrewsbury Magistrates Court today.

He is charged with murdering Paul Wayne Rugg during an incident at a flat in Kynaston Road, Harlescott in the town on Wednesday night.

He was one of four men arrested in connection with the incident.

One of the men was released without charge yesterday.
