Whitchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce has invited police to its next meeting.
It comes in the wake of a recent wrecking spree in which shop windows were damaged across the town.
And in the last week, police have launched investigations into a ram-raid at Griffiths Tool Hire in Bridgewater Street and a break-in at Pets 2000 in High Street.
In the raid, which happened between 7pm and 8pm on Saturday, £12,000 of stock, including expensive tools was taken.
Shop staff said it appears those responsible, possibly using a vehicle, rammed into a side wall, which has since been repaired, to gain entry.
At Pets 2000, between 4.45pm on Sunday and 8.15am on Monday, thieves smashed their way in and stole confectionery, toiletries and other items worth about £400.
Linda Bate, chairman of the chamber, said today: "We have invited police to come along and they have agreed to attend.
"Our members are concerned about the break-ins and broken windows.
"Many traders are not happy because it's bound to be costing them lots of money.
"When it comes to claiming on their insurance for fixing broken windows many don't bother because of their excesses or because they want to keep their premiums down."
The meeting is to take place on February 24 at the Dodington Lodge Hotel.
