Eisteddfod date for Jenkins

Singing sensation Katherine Jenkins will perform at this year's Llangollen International Eisteddfod.

Announcing the star will sing at an opening gala concert, Eisteddfod executive director Mervyn Cousins said he was thrilled the performer would be visiting the festival, which runs from July 5 to 11.
