Meanwhile a north Shropshire town councillor has criticised organisers of its weekly market after stall-holders were allowed to leave early to watch England in the World Cup.

At a meeting last night, former Market Drayton mayor Councillor Roy Aldcroft said there had been a lack of consultation after the majority of stallholders left early to watch England's match against Slovenia on June 23.
