Outrageous comic Julian Clary will make a return visit to a south Shropshire town as part of his tour in October.

The comedian will be performing at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms on October 15.

Clary first performed in Ludlow back in 2008 at a special gig to raise money for local charity, the Caitlin Kickstart Award, which gives bursaries for students at Ludlow College and Bishop's Castle Community College going on to further education.

His appearance at Ludlow Assembly Rooms raised £4,500.

The comedian, who found fame on TV show Sticky Moments and more recently has starred on Strictly Come Dancing, and Have I Got News for You, has also written two books. He has also done several stints in theatre musicals.

Following sell-out shows across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Clary has extended his Lord of the Mince tour which will include the show in Ludlow.
