Hundreds of people turned out to watch the wet and wacky action in an It's A Knockout-style competition in Shrewsbury.
And the event, held yesterday, proved such a such a success it could be back next year, organisers said today.
A total of 11 teams from across Shropshire entered the competition, held in The Quarry, to raise funds for Hope House Children's Hospice.
The competition described as a "school sports day for adults" was based on the popular TV gameshow involving plenty of foam and water.
Bagging the top spot was RAF Shawbury with Shrewsbury Football Club's team of six coming second and Steve Goodall Plumbers awarded third place.
Vanessa Thomas, area fundraising manager for Hope House Hospice, said there was a great atmosphere and they hope to raise around £10,000.
She said: "It was a real spectacle and we went for the wet and wacky theme with plenty of foam and water. It is around 30 years since the competition has been brought to Shrewsbury but it was such a great success that we will hopefully be bringing it back next year.
"The money that has been raised will be put towards a counselling building which will be used to help talk to bereaved families."
Shrewsbury's deputy mayor, Councillor Tony Durnell, helped with the presentations while Shrewsbury Town FC mascot, Lenny the Lion, and Teddy, from Smartwater in Telford who sponsored the event, also attended.
