The celebrity hairdresser, known as the most trusted hairdresser in the world, dropped into Shrewsbury to reopen the newly revamped Mystique.
The stylist, whose clients included A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sophie Dahl, George Michael, David Bowie, Gary Lineker and others, was at Shrewsbury's Prince Rupert Hotel for the celebration.
He wished Mystique owner Susan Boulger well for her new venture in Butcher Row which reopens today.
He said: "I know Susan as a client and I had no hesitation in agreeing to visit Shrewsbury for the formal relaunch of Mystique.
"I am sure that her enthusiasm and sense of style will ensure that Mystique is a real success.
"The shop looks fantastic - incredibly chic - and I have no doubt that the people of Shrewsbury and beyond will be itching to visit it."
Another high-profile guest was Callum Lumsden of acclaimed interior designers Small Back Room, who featured in the television programme "Mary Queen of Shops".
