Although formal identification has yet to be carried out, police today confirmed they believe the victim to be Mr Morris.
Detective Superintendent Paul Williamson, who is leading the inquiry, said a post mortem was being conducted by a Home Office pathologist today to establish the cause of death.
He said: "We carried out a 24-hour anniversary check yesterday which identified a number of further witnesses and I thank them for their support," he said.
"However, it is important anyone else with information contacts the police as a matter of urgency."
