A 39-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in a flat in Shrewsbury.

A 39-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in a flat in Shrewsbury.

Shawn Heath Adams, of The Paddocks, Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.

He has been charged with the murder of 30-year-old Wesley Morris, whose body was found at the flat where he lived in Lancaster Road, Harlescott, on Tuesday.

The case was adjourned until October 25.
