The case against a Shropshire man accused of murdering his 24-year-old daughter was today adjourned.
Gurmeet Singh Ubhi, of Leegomery, Telford, is accused of killing Amrit Kaur Ubhi at the family home on September 7.
He did not appear at Stafford Crown Court but Mr Justice Butterfield adjourned the case until Monday.
Miss Ubhi's body was discovered at the detached property in Berberis Road where she lived with her 53-year-old father and her mother Satender Kaur Ubhi.
A post-mortem showed Miss Ubhi, who was a student at Wolverhampton University and also worked at Monsoon in Telford Shopping Centre, died as a result of strangulation.
