Farmers in Powys have been warned to be on guard after an increased number of sheep rustling incidents.
A number of sheep and lamb thefts have been reported in the region over the past couple of months.
The latest incident saw six ewes and a ram stolen from the Bwlch y Fridd area of Newtown.
Earlier this month sheep rustlers stole 31 Suffolk mule yearling ewes worth more than £4,000 from Milton Farm, near Presteigne.
Police urged witnesses to contact them.
