Telly Talk: After The Apprentice and Strictly, what now?
What are we going to do now? wails Tracey O'Sullivan. In fact, when does Britain's Got Talent start now that 2010's reality television has come to an end with the finals for Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice.

But at least while we lament the end of a Saturday night favourite and that much-needed midweek boost, we can take some comfort from the fact it was almost a fitting finale for a year which has certainly not been short of drama.
It was the turn of the sequin-soaked dancers on Saturday night as Kara battled it out with Matt for what is surely the chavviest trophy on television - but still a highly-coveted one nonetheless.
And while there is no doubt that Kara is a smooth mover, bringing Widdy back reminded us who really was the star of this series.
Kara lifted that glitterball trophy and there's no argument from me – she was certainly the better dancer in this year's crop of celebrities. But in a final that didn't boast a single full house of tens from the judging panel it was Anne Widdecombe who gave us the memorable highlights.
In months to come we will struggle to remember what Kara's last dance was, but we will never forget the former MP descending from the ceiling on those high-flying wires. Or how she was flung on several occasions across the floor by partner Anton Du Beke; not anywhere near as pretty a manoeuvre as those Kara was capable of but the source of many a much-needed giggle this year.
Talent also triumphed in The Apprentice, together with a healthy dose of girl power. The series will also be remembered for its resident jester – unintentional maybe, but Stuart Baggs "the Brand" was the jester in every sense of the word. And we ended up cheering him on just for entertainment value.
Stella may be clocking in at Lord Sugar's empire after winning last night's final challenge to create a new alcoholic drink, but it was missing one vital ingredient – Stuart. Who knew that when a selection of the candidates returned to help out the final two – Stella and Chris – it would be the most annoying of the original line-up that we would be scouring the faces for.
Although after that tongue-lashing he was given from Lord Sugar last week perhaps it was wishful thinking to hope the business boss would let him loose on this one last project. But oh, how we wished he had.
It was a good final but for I for one believe it would have been better if it had summed up the series and it couldn't do that without some classic one-liners from Stuart.
I said he would be missed and he was.
Maybe he and Anne can team up for Britain's Got Talent. There's got to be a comedy routine there somewhere, and it would be something to look forward to in 2011.
