Trespassers have been getting through security gates and over the walls into the grounds of Osbaston House, near Oswestry.

Local councillor Arthur Walpole said those taking the photographs were disrespecting the family of Jill and Kirstie Foster and the community. He has called for the building to be demolished as soon as possible.

"It is obvious from the photographs that have appeared on certain internet sites that people are trespassing onto the grounds and into the remains of the Osbaston House," he said.

"It is very disturbing that there seems to be so much of the inside of the house still remaining and so much personal material."

He added: "I have contacted the agents who are responsible for Osbaston House and asked them to take action immediately to clear the site and to look at the security."

A large concrete block has been placed at the entrance to the driveway to prevent vehicles accessing the site. The gates to Osbaston House are secured with a large padlock and the remains of police tape can still be seen.
