Tesco's leaflet campaign to help Welshpool

Leaflets are to be given to shoppers at Welshpool's new Tesco store to encourage them to visit the town centre.

Welshpool Town Council is to produce 10,000 leaflets ready for when the store opens on March 14.

The leaflets will be given to people as they leave the store in a bid to get them to find out what is in the town centre shopping areas.

One of the main concerns of people opposed to Tesco is that the town centre and independent shops will suffer.
