A 21-year-old Gobowen man today admitted causing death by careless driving.

A 21-year-old Gobowen man today admitted causing death by careless driving.

Scott Muir, of Old Chirk Road, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where he admitted causing the death of 18-year-old Grant McCulloch on October 24, 2009.

Muir was driving a Peugeot 306 on the B5069 Gobowen Road in Oswestry when he lost control of the car in which Mr McCulloch was a passenger

Judge Robin Onions adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report until Friday and Muir was granted bail.
