The man is believed to have sustained just cuts in the crash, which happened at about 7.30am on the A49 at Dorrington, near Shrewsbury.
He was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

"The road is not blocked, although one lane is temporarily closed while emergency services are on scene.
"The driver, a man, is not believed to be seriously hurt and seems to have minor cuts and is being taken to the RSH by ambulance as a precaution for a check.
"The highways authority have been informed and they are assisting."
