The man in his 40s is believed to have suffered minor injuries in the incident which happened at about 3pm yesterday at Tern Hill, near Market Drayton.

An ambulance and rapid response vehicle from West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene and the man was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "It was a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a car.

"An ambulance was called and they took the motorbike rider to hospital although he did not suffer serious injury. There was a small amount of disruption to traffic."

Claire Thomas, spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "A man in his 40s, a motorcyclist, had suffered clavicle injuries."
