A 40-year-old Shropshire man has been given an indeterminate jail sentence after attacking and killing a Shrewsbury man whose body was found at a flat in the town.
Shawn Heath Adams must serve at least six year and 312 days and was jailed to protect the public, Stafford Crown Court heard today.
Adams, of The Paddocks, Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, admitted the manslaughter of 30-year-old Wesley Morris earlier this week.
He had denied an initial charge of murdering Mr Morris at a flat in Lancaster Road, Harlescott, in October last year, but admitted the lesser charge on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
