Wellington road closed for building repairs

A Wellington town centre road was closed today while repairs were carried out to a disused shop made unstable by large vehicles hitting the building.

The former card shop in Market Street has been hit a number of times by vehicles, along with a building used by Martin & Co Lettings on the opposite side of the road.

Telford & Wrekin Council said the road will be closed until tomorrow evening.
