The victim was walking home after a night out in Madeley when she was attacked in woodland just off Hills Lane Drive between 2.10am and 3.10am on Saturday. After the assault, the victim made her way on to Madeley High Street where she asked for help from a member of the public and called the police. An 18-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of rape.

An 18-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of rape.
Detective Sergeant Dafydd Jones, from Telford CID, said: "We arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of rape on Saturday night in connection with this incident. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have information that could aid our investigation but do have specific people we are especially keen to speak with.
"We are particularly keen to speak to a man and woman who were sat on a bench on the Cuckoo Oak roundabout next to Prince Street between 2.15am and 2.45am on Saturday.
"The victim states that she approached these two people, who are both white and in their early 20s, and asked the woman, who was blonde and wearing an animal print top, for a light for her cigarette.
"We are also keen to trace a black female who was parked up in a burgundy vehicle on Madeley High Street a short time later, as the victim knocked on the window to ask for assistance before continuing up the street after this assault."
