Intruders forced their way into The Inn at Grinshill, near Wem, and the Burlton Inn at Burlton, near Ellesmere. Police said today at least two people were involved and drove off in a car early yesterday.

Intruders forced their way into The Inn at Grinshill, near Wem, and the Burlton Inn at Burlton, near Ellesmere. Police said today at least two people were in-volved and drove off in a car early yesterday.

Cash was stolen from the Grinshill pub after a door was forced between 1am and 7am.

Kevin Brazier, who owns and runs the Grinshill pub with wife Viki, said thieves took about £100 cash plus bottles of spirits.

Nothing was stolen from the Burlton Arms after the intruders were disturbed inside the premises at 4.15am, having broken in by forcing doors.
