Staff and governors at Shrewsbury's Wakeman School have appealed against a plan to close it.

Staff and governors at Shrewsbury's Wakeman School have appealed against a plan to close it.

Last week members of Shropshire Council's cabinet approved recommendations the school should shut its doors in 2013.

But an appeal has been lodged with the schools' adjudicator.
