Tour of Britain heading for Welshpool

Tourism in Mid Wales is set for a major boost as some of the world's top cyclists arrive in the region.

The Tour of Britain cycle race is set to come to Welshpool tomorrow for the start of stage four, which will see top cycling names such as Mark Cavendish ride through the town.

Today's 84-mile stage included a visit by the riders to Eccleshall, near Newport.
