A man who died after being thrown out of a van in a four-vehicle crash on the M54 has been named.

A man who died after being thrown out of a van in a four-vehicle crash on the M54 has been named.

Chris Tolley, who was in his 50s and from Cannock, was found on the carriageway following the crash on the westbound side between junction three at Albrighton and junction four at Shifnal at 8.30am on Monday.

He was confirmed dead at the scene

Three other people were injured in the accident which closed a stretch of the motorway for several hours.

Two lorries and two vans were involved.
