Two men arrested in connection with a stabbing in Shropshire which left a 29-year-old man in hospital with serious injuries have been granted police bail.
Police arrested a 25 and 28-year-old man on Monday on suspicion of assault, causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The arrests were made in relation to a 29-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his chest and lower abdomen in Aldersey Lane in Prees Green, near Whitchurch, between 5.30am and 5.50am on Sunday.
Police said today the two men were granted conditional bail while investigations continue.
